GeoZS workshop
Geological workshop at Primary School of Frana Kranjca Celje, Slovenia (5/10/2020).
The workshop focussed on the importance of critical raw materials and took advantage of the "Modern devices – yes please? What about mining?" toolkit to discuss with the young students about the subject. The toolkit "Social Acceptance of Mining" was then proposed to find with them the best solutions and compromises about mining together. Together the two toolkits helped take important decisions concerning the integration of mines and factories into our environment. The "RockCheck" toolkit helped to understand from where we process raw materials from.

#All in music through the "decomposition" (19/05/2020) - webinar on CNR communication channels.
Knowledge goes through the "decomposition" of ideas and concepts into simple elements. These elements can then be reassembled in original ways to invent and build new things. This is the typical way of proceeding for science and technology as well as for music, games and teaching.
The methodology of RM@Schools was illustrated within this contest.

"New technologies in harmony with nature: science helps the circular economy" (14/05/2020) - webinar on INDIRE.
Many of our current technologies (smartphones, computers, cars) and renewable energy sources (solar and wind) depend on metals that are at risk of supply (e.g. rare earth elements, indium, neodymium, etc.). Science can play an important role on many factors that favor the circular economy, which is more sustainable than the linear one.
