Znanstival 2022

Geological Survey of Slovenia participated to the largest science fair in Slovenia: Znanstival. The presentation focused on age groups included in the formal educational system (age 6 – 18) and presented the importance of geological data about minerals and raw materials, rocks, fossils and soil. As a part of the presentation about minerals, rocks and raw materials the application and RM@Schools toolkit RockCheck (Slovenian version “KamenCheck”) were used. As the presentation was held by a team of young researches, they were trained on the use of the application and toolkit prior to the event internally by RM ambassadors Nina Valand. The informally collected comment of the attendees at the Znanstival were very positive.
