After a lecture about geology and its role in our society, pupils continued with workshops using the RM@Schools toolkits RockCheck and MineralChecks. The Minecraft game was used to introduce students to the raw materials issue. Exercises with Lithium Battery Bingo were carried out to learn about different raw materials that build everyday objects and about lithium batteries, which power these objects were.
